HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY PROGRAM (HEP)
SERVICES FOR MIGRANT AND SEASONAL FARMWORKERS
What is the program about?
ORO Development Corporation's High School Equivalency Program (HEP) is funded by U.S. Department of Education. ORO will support eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers students that resides in the State of Oklahoma to enroll in a General Education Development (GED) instructional program:
- Outreach and recruitment
- Educational services
- Supportive services
- Financial assistance
to further aid their pursuit in higher education and upgrade their employment or enroll in the military.
Agricultural workers seeking to gain a GED can obtain assistance at ORO field offices located at Workforce Oklahoma One-Stop Centers in Weatherford, Miami, Altus, and Oklahoma City.
